Black River Falls, Wisconsin, USA  M/C Park maybe two years ago.

60+ year old guys

Me with man-boobs.... my trustly XR400R is in the background.

High School buddy on my right had his prostate removed due to cancer later that year.

Riding buddy of 30 years on my left, has stage four cancer throughout his body right now....

 

Sorry for the bummer post.... I am feeling a bit melancholy right now.

While riding with my cousin and doing a light shakedown run with my new soft panniers, taking a break between the rocky portions of the MABDR's section 7  in PA's Bald Eagle State Forest on a beautiful day.

Somewhere east of Paisley, OR enroute to Frech Glen and Steens Mountain.  1,400 mile, 8-day solo September, 2023.

 

 

 

Bridge out at the Williamson River. My route planning was a little lacking here. Tried to get around upriver to no avail. Bailed out on the tar for a few miles to get back on course.

@electric_monk Gulf Stream help . Salty roads here don’t stop me on my old Aprilia in winter, but the salt would eat me modern bikes.

One more reason to travel up there. It's on my bucket list for too long.  Ferry up to Newcastle, then across the border. Gonna make plans for next year.
