Where does this belong? 31A-24188-01

Question

This little guy dropped down during installing second 12V supply at dashboard. To do this I removed plastic Covers on both sides. There should be two of this.

Don't have the T7 but by looking at MT07 with the same name (not same part number), it looks like it's a mold of bumper that protect the tank from getting hit/resting on something hard...? In this case, between the tank & frame?

 

Funny it is in the frame section instead of tank section.

 

Also comparing to #38 which has the same name except for the seat, I am guessing my suspicion is correct.

I cannot remember. Did you remove the tank; I didn’t. Looks like it pushes of a lip on tank or panel.

Found it. After checking all the spare part sheets several times I noticed that I was wrong. You can see part number and installation point at attached file.
