Tusk Rack with Camel Tank??

Hey there, just wondering if anyone has mounted this combo, Tusk Pannier Rack with the Camel Tank??

 

I tried with the higher/shorter tank hanger bracket and see clearance issues.

 

Maybe the longer hanger that comes for the OEM licence plate holder assembly give enough clearance and work?  I think I actually have one of those, but cant recall if thats gonna be a pain to swap out.

Not that this helps but the Outback pannier and Camel Tank are compatible I have this set up on my bike.

 

This is the list from Camel's  ADV website on which pannier racks are known compatible with AUX tank. Tusk isn't on the list 

• SW Motech Pro
• Outback Motortek symmetrical and asymmetrical (2nd Gen only!)
• Adventure Spec soft bag racks (require 10mm spacers and longer bolts)
• RideADV Solo racks
