Red and white cord inside t7 engine

I am new to the forum. I found red and white cords inside my t7 engine. Has anyone what are they and the purpose of having them? Do you also have them in your t7 engine as well?

It’s a cable to a sensor (crank or cam position maybe)or the genny (stator/ pick up). 

If you are really busting to find out, you can check the colour on the workshop manual wiring diagram.

Looks like stator. But a quick clause, I’m in an ice rink without reading glasses. So double check.
