Stalled when giving gas on idle

Hi!

Yesterday I was riding my tenere in my city…. I was about 30-40kph … I pulled the clutch after a bit of slowing down with engine brake so the bike rolled a bit without engine brake.. then i gave it a little bit of gas to rev it just a little bit on very low rpms…(because it has akra slip on without db killers so it has a good sound in low rpms and i enjoy it)… then instead of the good sound… it stalled🤣…. It never happened since and before… it runs perfectly fine since this action… i was wondering if anyone had this happened as well… its not a big deal but im curious😁

I’m pretty sure the T7 cuts the injectors on decel.

You might have just got unlucky and hit a grey spot in the mapping, never had that issue myself.

Yes.. i think so but it wasn’t during decel it was when i was rolling with clutch in and giving a bit of gas to rev it

Mine would also stall with too quick of a blip off idle when it was stock. Hasn't happened once since I got my 2wheeldynoworks tune. Couldn't believe the difference in the way it runs.

  • 9 months later...

I put a camel exhaust on mine and recently completed the mccruise wiring.  Now the bike idles really low 1000rpm and blipping the throttle stalled it too.   Im not sure if its the exhaust or the mccruise.  I did have to remove the ecu and plug in 2 wires.  Im wondering if I hurt a wire that affects idle.

It does that without back pressure. Put in the baffle and it won't occur again.

I have the CamelADV exhaust and it idles fine without the baffle.

I'd look elsewhere, probably your recent changes.

Some do, some don't camel has a longer linkpipe. Might be just enough backpressure.

I briefly tried a set of Scorpion de-cat headers with the CamelADV exhaust and had no issues with idle. It was so loud without the dB killer that I went back to the factory cat headers.
