Ducati Desert X

I did an hour's ride on a friends Desert X yesterday, on minor roads and faster main roads

It's an impressive bike, with similar issues to the T700 though - hard, uncomfortable seat and a screen that makes your helmet shake and blurs your vision

However it's got some ooomph and go about it and the suspension was excellent

Quite a bike to ride, not sure it's any more fun than the Tenere 700, overall

Not sure about the desert  x, but if I ever see a cagiva elephant 900 in lucky strike colours for sale I'm going to have to buy it
