Some of the lanes , although looked lovely , were very muddy and super slippery , ie , perfect

Looks like a lot of fun. Pretty muddy/slippy round here at the moment too.

Looks like heavy stuff for the STRs... thumps up to you! My last offroad tour grew pretty muddy and slippery too - it's fun, but also exhausting. I run Heidenau K60 Scout and they are not naturally up to that stuff either,  which makes it obviously more difficult.
