O2 Sensor fault...

...at 2200 miles for a bike less than two years old. The yellow engine management system light came on, not flashing, any reason why it would, now, need changing after only 2220 miles?

Thanks...

Yes. A second-hand bike bought three weeks ago; took it back to the Yamaha dealer and they replaced a new one on, under warranty.

This seems odd, as it is only 2300 miles old, and less than two years registered. Do the O2 sensors on these bikes fail regularly, so soon?????

Thanks...
