Finally

I have decided to go with Andreani Rally Open Cartridge for the forks

Coupled with an Ohlins YA818 46 STX shock

Hope it works out for my 70/30 or 80/20 road to off-road usage

Should be fitted by end of September 😎

Sounds like you'll experience an incredible ride. Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

Nice!  I'm running the OEM shock with a RallyRaid 90nm spring which improved the ride & handling a bunch. Having had a Ohlins on my FJR and experiencing ride Nirvana,  guessing you're going to be very happy with your setup. Please update this thread with your impressions and vital stats as I'm sure you're going to get questions.   I know I for one, will be interested in your thoughts.

Will do that

My other Adv bikes run Ohlins front & rear, so hopefully the T700 will make a better ride now

Shock fitted today, what a transformation & revelation

Much better & can’t wait for the Ohlins front cartridges to arrive & get it all dialled in

Well

I am halfway there & got the rear Ohlins installed with a 90nM spring and the bike rides much better

However Ohlins seem to be out of stock of front fork springs in my calculated spring rate and these won’t be available until January 2024

So fitting of the fork cartridge update won’t take place until next year now …ah well at least it’s in the winter period & not  Spring
