How can I patch hole in seat?

Shoe Goo, comes in black.

It is used to repair shoes.

I have used it on seats for many years, works great.

I think my seat has a similar split at that point.

 

As it’s on a corner you could remove the staples at that point, pull the cover back a little bit and stick a bicycle puncture repair patch on the back side.

 

Never tried it myself but may hold it together.
