Posted September 13, 20231 yr Seriously thinking of taking a hack saw to it. I find when standing it keeps bumping into my heel. Disclaimer, size 48 EUR or US 13 boots. I'm just wondering if this is just a me thing or if others are just cutting it off.

Yes, permanently both on the Camel Toe and the OEM kickstand.
September 13, 20231 yr My heel was hanging up and creating a problem when i would stand up. Five minute fix , simply cut the aluminum tab and grind smooth.
September 13, 20231 yr Community Expert It never caused me any issues (US size 14's) & I like it for the intended purpose. Everyone is different.... We are all tattooed in our cradles with the beliefs of our tribe ~Oliver Wendell Holmes~

September 14, 20231 yr Size 45, any time on the pegs weighting the rear it would sort of lock my boot in. Got distracting so off it came. Still easy enough to find the kick stand for me.

September 14, 20231 yr Mine broke off at some point and I didn't even notice until I was striping the bike down for a big clean.
September 14, 20231 yr The kickstand is just as easy to use without the original nub as it was before.
