Seriously thinking of taking a hack saw to it. I find when standing it keeps bumping into my heel. Disclaimer, size 48 EUR or US 13 boots. I'm just wondering if this is just a me thing or if others are just cutting it off.

Size 45/US 11 or so. Yes, permanently both on the Camel Toe and the OEM kickstand.

My heel was hanging up and creating a problem when i would stand up. Five minute fix , simply cut the aluminum tab and grind smooth.

It never caused me any issues (US size 14's) & I like it for the intended purpose.

Is it still easy to get the kickstand down without the tab?

Size 45, any time on the pegs weighting the rear it would sort of lock my boot in. Got distracting so off it came. Still easy enough to find the kick stand for me.

Mine was gone on day two.  Hacked it off and never missed it.

Grind it off. I don't miss it at all. It just got in the way for me.

Hah, figured this was a normal thing. I ride on my toes a lot (dirtbike guy) so off it comes.

Mine broke off at some point and I didn't even notice until I was striping the bike down for a big clean.

The kickstand is just as easy to use without the original nub as it was before.

If you like to ride standing with heels down, it’s a nuisance. Amputated years ago & it  hasn’t been missed.

caught my boot a couple of times, some near misses but nothing major.
