Exhausted exhaust colouring...

...how can I get the muffler here looking like a fresh and untarnished finish? 

 

Its a second-hand bike with, then, 2200 miles, and it looks like this already.

@Gary... That to me looks like car polish on it that has not been removed right and it has dried in... Clean it with WD-40.

Class... WD-40 works, a threat job. Good work. It looks well now.

Replace it.

It's discolored with heat and the finish on some of the components is whack.

...replace? Thought about that too. But, will another replace be needed too soon too I wonder...??????

I always put linseedoil on my black exhausts with a brush. It burns in during riding and keep it more black and prevent from rust.
