Hello from Germany

It all startet with a Yamaha XT500 in 1976 when I bought the then brand new 1N5. After decades and countless bikes it came to the T700(DM11) this year. A model 2022 with less electronic gimmicks. My favorite color tech-camo or ceramic wasn't available at the time in the store. So I took a blue one and did some changes after a truck hit the bike with less than 200 Km on it. With the opponent's insurance money I renewed the damaged parts. Tank (Acerbis black), skid plate (Acerbis black), exhaust (MIVV Dakar) and at last the side fairings (Camel black). So now I got a T7 in black and blue. The stainless steel tail is home grown.

By the way I live in the northern part of Germany near Kiel at the Baltic Sea. In '88 and '90 I spent some months in the US on vacation. West coast, esspecially LA and SF, travelled way up north to Yellowstone and enjoyed the countryside. From this year on I'm retired and finally have more time to ride.

Danke für's Willkommen!

Aber in einem US-Forum sollte man doch besser bei der gebräuchlichen Landessprache bleiben. Ich find's einfach netter den Anderen gegenüber.
