Has Anyone Tried Batanga Racks?

Hi, 

Wondering if anyone has tried using the Batanga pannier racks with the OEM rear carrier rack?  It's exactly what I need, but I am concerned about putting too much force on the connecting bolts.  If it does work, I think it would be a great way of adding some lighter soft panniers.
