OEM Chain

I have had a good run with the OEM chain and am looking to replace it with another OEM chain.

Anyone know if the OEM chain as a spare part is already joined - that is it is an endless chain?

Just wondering if I need to drop the swingarm to install an OEM replacement chain.

 

It is part number 94582-49122-00 and $150 on partzilla.com.

My factory one came joined. Needed to drop the arm to replace.

If you do have to remove swingarm might as well grease everything up including shock linkage.

Take off a link and replace it with a clip style master link.

I rivet on the bigger bikes, joiner link on the dirt bikes (125, 175 & 450).  We could add oil and tires to this discussion
