Headlight protection film?

Moon

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Looking for a good headlight protection film. Preferably that can handle sand blasting and smaller pebbles.... Not big size rocks

Don't want the hard plexiglass type.

Any recommendations and experience?

Regards

Moon

Thought I'd bump this.

Anybody find any clear film for the headlight? I'd love to find something cut to fit to apply to heal keep it looking new.

I use regular lamination paper cut to fit. Usually multiple pieces.
i have also used clear packing tape

not pretty but does the job.

Any chance you have a link? Tried tying in that name and I don't think it's what you're using. Thanks mate.

Hiya

i nicked it from work, its the normal a4 sized laminate pocket where you put A4 paper in and stick it through a heat machine thing. Office world or something like that. It is quite thin however it hardens up after heating.

another product is 3m helicopter tape

I have used this on previous bikes but haven't got around to doing the T7 yet. Works well and never suffered a stone chip or broken headlight.
