Endy Brutale exhaust

I bought a T7 fitted with an Endy Brutale exhaust. I am wondering whether anyone has one? For me its a little loud and as I mostly ride off road I don't want to piss everyone off. Do you know how to tell if DB muffler is working  - apparently its just a screw? Should any re-tuning have taken place when fitted? Also, if I was to change to another exhaust do I need to do anything?

Hi TimC,

If there is a screw or bolt that is removable at the end of the can, then there should already be a DB killer in. From the look of the website, it does seem that they make cans for racing (per say) so there maybe no db killer available.

However if you are looking at getting another exhaust, it should be a simple slip on system. A good place to start with value-for-money slip-on exhaust cans are "Black Widow" exhausts. You can choose lenght from 200mm to 400mm (200mm being louder and 400mm being quieter) and they come with DB killer as standard fitted into the can.

I run a 300mm hexagonal can and to be honest love it without the DB killer.

If the header pipe has been replaced then chances are there isn't a cat fitted.

The cat cuts down on a shitload of noise.

Alcohol! No good story starts with a salad.

For dB muffler look for the adjustment screw on the exhaust. Might need a Re-tune.
