Hi all,

My name is Daniel and i'm 45. Have zero experience with motorcycles, just got my driving license one month ago.

I was lean to buy a versys/tracer/vstrom/nc750x kind of bike, but after watching some reviews and the on road behavior i've took the decision to buy a Tenere 700.

I'm loving the riding experience and i find it simple to handle in motion.

Standstill can be tricky even with my 192cm height. Already dropped it because leaned it to much and couldn't handle the weight. Lesson learned!!

This is when i got it from the dealer.

Cheers

Congrats on your full license and congrats on the new bike man. It’s a fantastic bike to be your first, keep it rubber side down and enjoy

Welcome Daniel! You'll get use to slow maneuvering your bike in time. This is something all bikers go trough.

Attention to the ground gradients and weight shifts of your inputs!

Enjoy the sunny Portugal!

Slow speeds at parking lot speeds or less, you should use rear brake way more than front brake... that will free up your throttle hand to keep giving throttle inputs vs playing a finger dance with the front brake and throttle...

Boas Curvas

Yes it is a tall bike and tricky at slow speeds, take care and practice lots in areas away from traffic to get experience up.
