Hi, new to this forum. Just changed gs1200adv for world Raid. Will see how it goes. Fancied a change and the weight appealed.

Welcome!

I went to Northern Ireland once.

Beautiful part of the world.

It was '93 and I haven't had chance to get back.

Brother in law comes from Donaghadee and his family is still in the area.

I was taken to a very small pub somewhere near Comber.

My shout so I fronted the little bar and asked for 2 pints.

Barman yells to the band "we've got an Aussie" so I was propelled to the stage and had to sing the entire "Waltzing Matilda"

The band was a fiddle, penny whistle, and a bodhran.

Needless to say I didn't have to buy another drink and was hosed out at closing time.

The Irish certainly know how to have fun.

Enjoy your new found toy and if in Oz shout out.

No problem. Can show you some of the smaller roads outside of Belfast. There is some lovely riding here and of course the NW200 in May.

Brilliant! I'm not far from Comber. Out on the coast. Never been to Oz. Maybe some day!

Will try! Pick up next week. Will be sad to see the GS go. Time for a change though. Yes, I'm out an about quite a bit so no doubt will cross paths. Take care.
