Hi to everybody,

I'm writing from Genova, Italy, and I just bought a 2022 Tenere 700, after more than a decade of scooters.

I did about 15 years of enduro (mostly Yamaha WR250) and before that I rode an Honda VTR 1000 and a Yamaha YZF600R.

I'm thriller about this new adventure and I think I'll love the T7.

Thanks for letting me in.

Ciao

Federico

How long is your riding season there?

The answer isn't simple.

First of all, I haven't been riding for at least a decade now, as I've been using a scooter only in the city, year-round.

When I used to do off-road, mainly enduro, I could ride almost all year round, but during winter weekends, I would spend time in the mountains snowboarding. However, as long as I avoided areas where there might be some snow, I'd say you could ride a motorcycle all year round.

Even earlier, when I rode on the road, it was similar: year-round, but in winter, we had to avoid certain higher areas to avoid encountering snow. Let's say I'm in an area of Italy where the climate is generally decent all year round
