Vintage Bikes Banned From Tail Of The Dragon

Just saw this on ADV Rider...

 

As spring arrives on the east coast of the US, many of us are already planning our road trips. But if you are thinking of taking a tootle down to the famous Tail of the Dragon route on your vintage bike, you’d better check ahead. You might not be allowed. As of April 1, 2024, most motorcycles made before 1980 are banned from the famous Deals Gap pass—sort of.

Well..... that didn't take long. Didn't really give us west coast time zone dwellers a chance to come up with something juicy.  Sadly it's getting more and more difficult to separate fact from fiction. Good one Bob!
