Barkbusters

I would just like to advice anyone who intends installing Ténéré 700 specific Barkbuster Hand Guards and has Asv levers fitted. The hand guards will not fit with these levers.
I have just spent more than enough time trying to make them work but failed.

@Stephen H Thanks for the heads-up.

I was considering the same combination.

Is this because of lever length, I'm wondering if the shorty levers would fit?

Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike

                 It’s not the length that’s the issue it’s the depth of the lever

Hope the pic explains it better. One is the Oem lever sat on top of the Asv

@Stephen H gotcha, thanks that makes perfect sense. That's just saved me 200 quid so I probably owe you a beer!

I guess a simple bar unbending or a spacer at the attachment point would fix the problem.

... just saying ... :)

MGG I did think of doing that but it looked like too much hassle. I thought my other options of either putting Oem levers back on or purchasing some other levers that would fit better like the ones in the video from rugged roads about fitting the Barkbusters.
