Front stickers with dirty outline... can I clear lacquer the whole thing?

I've had my Tenere for 6 months now and I've put about 1500 miles on it. I absolutely love the bike but there are a few obvious cost cutting measures on it, one of which is that the model name stickers have not been clear-lacquer coated, and so the edges of the stickers, where some of the adhesive is slightly exposed, attracts dust forming an ugly outline,  as you can see in the photo.

Is it possible to reapply the stickers if I remove these and then reapply new ones, and is it possible to clear-lacquer the whole plastic side cover, stickers and all,  so that this problem is alleviated? I know this has always been the way it's done on metal motorcycle petrol tanks but I'm wondering about whether or not this can be done on the plastic. Also worried that perhaps one of the reasons this has happened is that the stickers have slightly shrunk in the sunshine. Would that be a problem if they were lacquered over (ie potential cracking of the lacquer)?

Although I'm going a bit overboard!!, lacquering the panels really gives the T7 a nice finish,  a quality look.  If your going to beat the bike up a lot off road there's not much point...having said that I will be off roading!!.   No doubt a few battle scars..   Cheers,  Steve
