Great list - thank you. What weight used for the rider and how much for the gear.

O.K. I’m looking for settings suggestions based on weight for a starting point. Thanks.

I think motor companies can write this settings on their book but they do nothing we are not specialist...

I ordered Ohlins for an older BMW and they were set up with springs for a 180 pound rider with approximately 20 pounds of gear. I did have ro set preload for sag but all other settings were indicated as clicks from full with the suggestion that I may have to make minor adjustments to suit me preferred settings. They suggested that I record these settings as a starting point before making changes.

Wow, that sump bolt torque sure looks high at 32 lbs ft.  My S10 has two smaller bolts.....each torqued to 14 lbs ft.

OP, thanks for cheat sheet....I make one for every vehicle owned.

I found out all of the factory settings for compression and rebound for both the forks and shock in the owners manual. It’s always good to have the base setting if things get out of whack once you start experimenting with suspension changes! It’s just too easy to get lost.

I used a torque wrench for the 600 mile service and torqued the drain bolt to 30 ft lbs.  I have 1800 miles now and all is good.

T700 FUSE BOX

This is from the manual, I don't know why they didn't put it in numerical order. I will redo the picture later in numerical order. #13 are spare fuses.

Ha! I went to post the fuse list here and you had already done it. I got mine printed as stickers.

Love the sticker idea and thank you for posting this.

I am curious, I've seen that the oil bolt torque was felt to be much too high at 43nm? As in people stripping it out? And that Yamaha acknowledges this. Is that not true? What are people tourqing it down to if they are torquing at all? Curious.

I dont use a torque wrench on sump bolts. I've done enough to know when its enough, and I am nowhere near 32 ftlbs. Maybe more like 20.

It saves me a few trips to the tool box and/or saves me from carrying tools I don't need to know what tools are required for which fasteners.

This is not an exhaustive list but it covers frequently touched points.

Open or box end wrenches unless specified. There are JIS screws involved too but they're easy to identify.

      Fastener       Tool
Clutch & Water Pump covers 5mm Allen
Clutch Cable Adjuster 14mm open
Exhaust Hanger 8mm Allen
Fairing panels 8mm socket or T25 Torx
Fork Clamps 10 mm
Fork Dampening straight screw driver
Fork Guards 8mm & 4mm Allen
Front Axle 19mm Hex
Front Axle Pinch bolts 10mm
Front Brake Calipers 12mm
Kick Stand 14mm open
Mirrors 14mm open & 17mm open
Oil Drain 17mm socket
Rear Axle 27mm socket
Rear Wheel adjusters 10mm open & 12mm open
Shift Linkage Adjuster 5mm Allen, L-wrench only
Skid Plate T25 Torx
Speed Sensors (F&R) 10mm
Tail Rack 10mm open & 5mm Allen
Top Clamp 6mm Allen
Wind screens 4mm Allen

What a great idea.  I'll make one and paste it to the wall where it's handy.  Thanks @Boondocker
