Simple seat mod

Simple seat mod, I saw this on a Aussie site so not my idea.  Like most of you probably, I hate the way the front seat screws in to place. It’s a pain just getting the Alan key out.   All you do is drill four small holes for a cable tie and two small pieces of rubber hose. As you can see in the picture.
The rear seat fits as normal and it locks the front section in place. Job done.

Moving this to tech tip section so it doesn't get buried and lost in general discussions.  So people can find it later.

i just unscrewed the two allen bolts and screwed them in again but from underneath - its a bit of a fiddly job but once done the seat then sits on the protruding ends of the allen bolts that come through to the top, you simply pop the seat over the pins and thats it, the rear seat holds it down without any other fixings at all

I did this. Works well!

I am using this method with the Blackdogcw.com Helo Pad and I can confirm it works, no slop or rattling.
