Yoshimura RS-4 for the T7

So after trying to find a solution to find a midpipe to fit my old Triumph’s Yosh RS-4 pipe onto my T7, I finally found a very simple $30 midpipe that works without issue and once setup looks like it was made for the T7.

check out the photos

stock pipe weighs 10 lbs

yosh rs-4 with heat shield 7.5 lbs

saved 2.5 lbs or about 1 kg

This is the midpipe I purchased

Honda CB1300 2003-2013

The OEM heatshield was used by adding 2 clamps, drilling a hole and adding nuts to secure the shield, then clamp to the midpipe

Midpipe clamp to manifold I used the oem gasket and had to add some high temp silicone due to very slight gap. Once cured, I clamped it tight and no leaks and very secure

51mm exhaust to midpipe so as long as your exhaust is a 51mm, it should work.  The yosh pipes mount aligns perfectly with the T7

Very pleased and sounds amazingly throaty, almost like a thumper

That's wonderful Lyfe. Bravo. If anyone else scours the internet and after months of investigation finally figures out how to do this then feel free to share your photos here too. 😐

Where did you source the mid pipe, and what bike was it originally made for?

Thanks for the info, Im using a link pipe for Honda cb500 also sourced from Ali express, fits reasonably good but the angle is slightly off, not so bad with a shorter slip on muffler, 350mm, but I'm looking at fitting a longer type so I'll purchase the CB 1300 link pipe, looks like a better fit.
