New owner here, I am looking to pick up a second set of rims to install a more aggressive set of knobbies on for trail use. Is there any special fitment for the wheels? Will most Yamaha dirt bike wheels work? I appreciate the insight you have.

None of the other Yamaha model wheels will fit the T7, the spoked wheels for the T7 are specific to that bike.

I asked Warp 9 if they plan on building T7 specific wheels; here is their reply:

 

"Yes sir 1st prototypes cut, doing a second set and test before production. I'd say we will have them ready in about 2 months

 

And for SM there will be a tubeless option but tube style for the OEM wheel sizes."

Is Rally Raid our only option for upgraded Offroad oriented wheels on the T7?  I'm looking for a set i can put knobbies on for the dirt adventures.  

 

What's the total cost of a full set these days?

believe Woody's is working on a set if not already done.

however, I have not seen any updates lately.

Various rim, spoke and hub combo's are on Woody's Wheels website T7 page.

I like their rims. I got a set for my TM250 and they are nice. Even the rotors and sprocket was quality.
