Hi, out here in Victoria BC.  Where did you get the Quadlock in Canada and do you mount a GPS or smartphone? Thanks,Ray

Good day Ray,

I went through the quadlock canadian site:

Smartphone Mounting for An Active Lifestyle™. Fast, Free Shipping. The very best in iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel and Huawei smartphone mounting for Bicycle, Motorcycle, Car and life in general.

They will offer you a first time buyer discount. Works in tandem with the cases they sell, which are tough on their own - no complaints. I got this specific one, and mounted a smartphone to it. Left my phone on there for some off-road rallies this summer - no issues with camera failing due to vibrations or anything.

For the GPS I ended up going with the Donnertech gps mount with the stabilizer bracket as well. I initially bought a sticker mount from quadlock for the gps to mount it where my phone was, but my unit (Montana 610) was too small to get a good surface to stick to.

Cheers, Ehren

I have a question for those who are using the SP connect solution with mirror mount.
I don't have a smartphone supported by SP or Quadlock so I have to choose an universal one attachment, I prefer SP solution compared to Quadlock because it also has a universal clamp that does not require any sticking interface (I don't want to attach one of those large interfaces on the back of my phone and I don't trust any case I found so far).

My only doubt is that I don't know if I have enough space to rotate the phone to lock it to the SP mirror mount, it's pretty large (166x76 mm) and if the distance between the mounting bar and the phone will not be enough I fear I would not be able to rotate the phone to lock it.

I was considering also buying the anti vibration module from SP, do any of you tried it?

Thanks
