Carbon fiber Bash plate any good?

Just came across this: https://p3carbon.com/shop/skid-plates/carbon-fiber-skid-plates/yamaha-sp/p3-carbon-skid-plate-yamaha-tenere-700-t700-2019-2021/

Someone have any expirience with those? Is it as strong as 4-5mm aluminium?

Also came across this one in Poland: https://www.otomoto.pl/oferta/yamaha-tenere-yamaha-tenere-700-wersja-karbon-ID6DBdQ7.html

Could not find the reference for the parts but it definetly does not look strong for me. More of a sport bike style.

Kodama Composites are also developing one but it's not on their website yet.  I suppose you could email them if you're interested....

I have a carbon bash plate and side fairing protectors from them on my CRF250 Rally and they are good quality.

@boboneleg but how it compares to aluminium? I mean when aluminium bends what would happen to the carbone fiber? Will it break or break the bike's frame?

Look at the frame rails of a bike that is ridden hard that has a carbon plate, all the ones i have seen the frame is trashed as the carbon plate gives.

Never seen one ... And what about "normal" adventure touring conditions?

If riding hard enough no bash plate nor bike will resist anyway 😄

Look at how Cory at Camel tests his, if you ride like that then buy his, if not then it wont matter which one you buy as it will just be keeping the rocks thrown from the tire from etching the paint or engine case.
