Cheaper tubeless options

Recommended Posts

Pissed-off with a puncture and a 5-hour, 50 mile journey home I looked around for a tubeless solution - there are many which will relieve you of lots of hard-earned dosh. Below is a more affordable option.

I've contacted Central Wheel UK regarding a tubeless conversion for my T7.  They will seal the rear for £125, the front is not possible due to the depth / shallow nature of the smaller rim size.  However, they offer a new rim (in different anodised colours) for £170 - and they will re-spoke your rim with stainless steel. They offer other makes but this one looked damned neat to me.

Let us know how you make out. I would really like to find an blue anodized front rim with the tubeless safety hump to match my T7 rear. It's not obvious on their website. I'll drop them an email.

Thanks for the resource!

I think I have Yamaha disease...
