Extra Brake & Rear Lights

Here in the Deep South, too many drivers of cars spend too much time on their cellphones while being out in traffic. I have driven cars and motorcycles in many parts of the world, but I have never, ever seen so many drivers totally absorbed by other devices; i.e. cellphones, as down here in the Deep South of United States. So I have added additional lights up front of my motorcycle, and in this video, additional brake and tail lights in order to be more visible in traffic.

The tail light on the Yamaha Ténéré 700 is connected with the same Sumitomo MT-090 3-prong connector as used for two of the three electrical auxiliary ports up front, making it easier to create a 1-3 splitter for connecting the two Rizoma Café Racer Style Rear Lights.

You can also wire in one of these Brake Light Strobe Module for about $5 to help wake up those sleepy drivers behind you.

I installed one on my FZ-09 and am quite pleased with how well it works. I'll be installing one on my T7 for sure.
