I've made an update to my old clutch cable fix video and incorporated feedback from the community as well as used new parts and flux for the first Ténéré clutch cable fix.

Yamaha Clutch cable requirements: 2 mm thickness and 102.5 cm (+-5 mm) length.

Kits:
Slinky Glide (http://slinky-glide.co.uk) makes "Emergency Clutch and Throttle Cable Repair Kit"

Hi,

Nice vid and great how-to.

To my experience, the stability is further increased when you unfold the single strands of the cable (like a blossom) in the nipple before soldering.

This gives you some extra miles....

Have a nice weekend
