Corrosion inside the front forks

Just changed oil to the front forks. Bike is s 2019 model and has 22.000 km's. The oil was a bit like syrup, never seen oil like that.

But the real surprise was that the damper rod (hope I got this one right) had some corrosion on both of the forks.

One week left on the warranty. Let's see what the dealer has to say about this.

That doesn’t look good. Interested to hear what Yamaha say.

Just got a call from the dealer. Yamaha will replace all of the interiors to the forks.
