Minor Rim chipping

NPStoner

Question

After a ride out in the woods i noticed my rear rim has a ton of small scraped from the paint or "anodization"

Is there an easy fix to this? And has anyone else had this happen?

Ive never had my MX wheels chip this easy.

You could touch it up with either a permanent black magic marker or model brush with black paint.  It looks like the wheel and sidewall of the tire was spun in some abrasive material.   I do know that if you ride through loose, smaller rock the rear wheel can and will get scratched very quickly.

Black sharpie this is why I didn't get the blue wheels. That and I'm not exactly  careful with my tire spoons.

Yea i remember mow i went thu a creek and the bottom was pea stone and i just sunk in. So alot of wheel spin lol.

I thought of just waiting till winter to get them re-anodized and also change to stainless steel spokes.
