Rapidbike Evo installation... engine management light!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have just installed a Rapidbike Evo to my T7, all wired in correctly, bike starts and runs fine, but now the engine management light is continuously on.

I'm not sure how to resolve this.... Has anyone had a similar experience after initially installing one & how was it resolved?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try to take the battery of for at least 10 mins.
Not sure if it works but with the Crosstourer there is also some engine management thing that can be solved this way.
But did you ride with it afterwards? It also can be needs to be convinced there is no problem but it's just guessing for solutions that might work.

I've not taken it for a test ride yet, as I was planning on replacing the standard header pipes for Leovince de-cat pipes first. I will test ride it then   try the battery disconnect, see if that solves it. Cheers

I have tried the 10 minute disconnect, not solved, but worth trying.  Thanks
