Tie down hook keepers

I've been using these for years and highly recommend them.  A friend who didn't use them ended up dragging a new Suzuki 250 down the road one night because the inside tie-down ( one of two, always use 4!) came off of his 3 rail mc trailer.  My friend's son looked in the mirror and asked " hey Dad,  what are those sparks behind us?"

Old frugal/cheap guys (me) have always used duct-tape in this manner.

Really really cheap guys (me) then tear the duct tape lengthwise to get two strips from each piece.
