I found this that maybe of interest for those looking for more range. It looks good and fits well with the bike. There is an option to see the subtitles in English.

Here is another option: 25 lt tank from Safari, an Aussie company . The video is in english and it shows the installation.

Despite being an Aussie I think the Italian tank is more aesthetically pleasing and I am hanging out for supplies to land in Oz!

With both tanks fitting most tank bags is not an option. I am a big user of tank bags. When I am riding solo and nit traveling with gear I always carry it in the back, but when I travel and have my gear the tank bag goes on the tank. Tank bags are so useful for carrying the smaller stuff that you need quick access to. Keys, ear plugs, iPad, visor or glasses cleaning wipes, and so on. Also when I stop somewhere and buy some goodies for the road. For my long Central and South American trip I think that I'll be carrying extra fuel mounted on the crash bars.

I'm not ruling out the tank option yet. But the hose coming out of the top looks super ugly. Which makes it less likely that I'll buy one. And I would get a cap that locks with a key.  Acerbis offers a lockable cap for their tank.
