ColorRite paint - a review

I decided to paint the rear plastics of my white/red T700 all white.  The color code is BWP1 - Yamaha Bluish White Pearl and ColorRite has a complete kit, or so advertised.

What I didn't notice is, in the small print, the "Complete Kit" requires a base coat - which is NOT included in the "Complete Kit".   Not sure if they understand the meaning of the word "Complete", but it cost me another week of time and 12 bucks shipping.

It terms of the product, it's great - goes on smooth, and is a complete match.  I'm just annoyed as hell about the false advertising of a complete kit that cost me an addition 50 bucks for base coat and shipping.

So I got pissed that the bike was apart and I have to wait a week for the white base.  Decided to try the metallic top coat on the grey primer base.  Looked good, so layered on the clear coat and called it done.  Looks really good in the sunlight.

Can I ask you what primer you used? I’m planning on doing this to my bike as well
