Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer/Grips?

I have ordered a Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer, but you need the length of the stock grips for it to slip under to work.
I replaced the stock grips a few months ago with ProTaper pillow tops, but they are too short.  Any suggestions? I am in Canada.

My bike came with the kaoko and barkbusters installed w the stock grips and I just replaced it all  with pillow tops and heated grips.

You'll be good...but yes you will have shorter grips but I don't find this to be an issue whatsoever.

One problem I do have is that the barkbusters have bent where they attach at the bar ends which has altered the 90 degree contact point needed for the kaoko to engage properly. So it still works...but the engagement is only on one side of the throttle lock which is not optimal.

Anyhow good luck!
