I have a set in my garage for my T7 going on in the next month or so. They were great dual purpose tires on my Africa Twin and KLR650. I expect nothing to be different on the Tenere.

Side note. I went with 140/80 for the Tenere as i also chose with the Africa Twin. I did this due to the tread being a bit different. 140 has the full tread depth as seen in first pic. 150 i believe has the “half-way” center strip, something like a TKC70 rear comes with. Can anyone confirm the 150 characteristic?

I have a set on my t7. Love them, for it's worth. They are a really hard tire though. I've almost lost it a couple of times when it has been chilly and wet on the tarmac.

I'm looking at the Missions as well.  Your feedback here is valuable since I ride when its cold and wet here in SLC...

@jdub53 Didn't you have wet/ cold temps issues with your TMM also?

Yes I did. My experience with those tires was on an R1200GS in 2020 and here's some more info I'd previously posted which was pretty much my experience on pavement: Finally Dunlop Trailmax Mission tested! - Tenere 700 Tires and Wheels - Yamaha Tenere 700 Forum

Not mentioned in that post, but from my first rides with the tires in anything wet/damp off-road the rear acted more like a pure street tire which both surprised and concerned me. It spun and stepped out repeatedly during starts on forest roads with light surface mud (first pic below), and it spun most of the way up several moderate forest road hill 4x4 trails with light mud/wet foliage when I was out exploring (next two pics), which made me thankful I hadn't ventured further down the hills as I might not have gotten back out. I did get stuck at one point when the rear loaded up with mud, but even a full knobby may have been challenged in that spot.

I ended up removing the front when it had 10k miles total after I'd remounted it paired with a TKC70 Rocks (much better in every condition and respect than the Mission rear except for tread life). Still lots of tread left at that point (amazing tire), but the tread had split across its full width down to the carcass which apparently happened to some of these tires as a result of the manufacturing process. That marked the end of my Mission tire relationship.

I have ridden with a rear flat twice with the Trailmax Mission and the side wall is so strong/stiff it never gave way.  Amazing tire.  Not that I suggest to ride with a flat, but I was over 80km/hr with little stability concerns (yes the rhythmic thumping of a shredded tube alerted me).
