Madstad Windshield Review(s)

I know there are a few (lengthy, somewhat disorganized) threads on windshields, but here is a specific review of the Madstad windshield:

 

Me: 6'2" and all torso, with just a wee 31" inseam.

 

The stock and Powerbronze Sport shields both caused a lot of buffeting.

 

The inexpensive, clip-on spoiler from Amazon was so close. If I were 2" shorter in torso, I think it would have been adequate. It was not well made.

 

The Madstad (tallest) is a stone cold winner. Big? Yes. Makes the bike look a bit like a police motorcycle? Yes. But so effective.

 

Sturdy, nicely-crafted mounting system, to boot.

I have one on 2 bikes. The adjustability makes it great on or off road.
