Fantastic route and great scenery.  Rode from Damascus VA on the TN Border to Lewisville PA.  Fair amount of pavement, but mostly all on beautiful one and two lane country roads with very little traffic.  Small towns along the way were nice and friendly. Camped 3 nights in State parks and 2 nights in hotels, which was a perfect mix for me.  A few sections  3 ,6, 7. were more technical with riding through G Washington and Jefferson  National Forests and Bald Eagle State Park were amazing.  Check out  www.ridebdr.com for complete route and those in other states.
