Scotts steering damper-DIY mounting

Already shared this in the pic dump topic but thought it was worth sharing as a dedicated topic for those who are interested of installing a Scotts steering damper them self.

I picked up a really affordable second-hand steering damper for around 200 euros but after looking at all the of the shelf mounting options decided it wasn't rocket science and went to the drawing board my self to create my own mounting.

The 3D model of the Scotts steering damper is something I made available on GrabCad along with the mounting parts, the mounting part do need to tuned to fit in-between the 2 steering clamps as this fitment comes critical for it not to be able to rotate under load.
