Racks, exhaust, tail tidy, grips....

I got my T7 this summer, well it arrived spring but could not pick it up till summer, sticker says made 2/2022.  Got a handful of upgrades and had the chance to put most of them on when home for the holidays.

Racks.... Made in Poland but bought them from a guy in Czech, he's on youtube.  I like the style better than any other out there.  Using them for protection and for my mosko reckless 40/54.  I think they will protect the bike from drops, not so sure about a full on wreck.

Full exhaust  HP corse,  installed Rapid bike Evo for the fuel management

Koso heated grips, I like the compactness, and the 5 levels should work for every occasion.

With the cat removed there is a lot of room with the factory skid.   Thinking about giving it a tummy tuck; I placed some foam in there so the mud wont pile up so bad

I still have the rear brake pedal "fix" to install, I should get it on tomorrow...if the creek don't rise.

Also, went with Rally Raid suspenion-T7 Adventure Shock-RRP 618 and T7 Extreme Closed-Cartridge Fork Kit-RRP 625.  These will have to wait till the next time I'm home.

I really like the racks. Does he have a site or an e-mail one can contact him?

I contacted him through his video.

The foam idea did not work, touching pipes.  I thought it may burn in and stop but no, bad idea.

Ok, got the "the fix" on, no issues what so ever and seems great.

Also, got a solid 3/8" clearance between blinker and high exhaust.  Just bent the bracket a smidge.

A few things I did this summer.....

Adjustable levers, length adjustable and hinged.  Pretty dang good for $40

  • 2 months later...

Was home last weekend and added more bolt-on stuff.

SRC moto USA rear brake master cylinder guard.   Had to make a bend to clear the aftermarket exhaust routing.   Split the difference with the bend (right hand pic).

Acerbis engine guards, left and right side of motor.  I'll do a separate thread on these, definitely worth the investment.

AltRider aluminum center stand, with OEM spring.  Added some grip pad on the side.

I went china cheap on the chain guard.  Thinking I'll paint over the nicecnc lettering.  It is a well-made product though.

Did the obligatory mirrors (one has to right?) and barkbusters.  I'll do a thread on these also, I know there are many, but want to save some people money, the T7 specific kit is not needed.

Replaced the battery with a Li-ion unit.  The battery location is kind'a high up there, the only thing higher of note is the fuel tank, so reducing weight there does have an effect.    Also, sad to say but my bike spends 95% of its life in my garage waiting for the chance to see the outside world.  Batteries are the bane of my existence; with a Li-ion able to sit for year holding its charge is valuable to me.
