I saw this video and then went to their WEB site.

Kind of a cool look, like a big dirt bikes.

That said, if Yamaha made a big dirt bike, someone would make a kit to make it look like a T7!

Came across it, too - not cheap, looks good. But I'd really be missing the crossbar for GPS!

Looks great. But I’m 100% you could do it yourself with other parts and some vinyl/paint for loads less.

Yup, that is what I am talking about! Do you work for them?

If so, why no Honda conversions?

I always thought about doing this to my old XR650L...

Not at all. I just wanted to see the differences directly. That's why I did put the two pics together.

That Unit Garage workshop is nicer than my living room!?! Impressive kit!…. Now they can work on a larger tank that hangs lower for better CG 🤓

@HibobbI’ll take a XR650L “scrambled” to go! Thank you…

Lol… touché, I was thinking in terms of it being easier to pick the bike up off the ground.

And that's of course the case!

It's really against common sense and feeling, that a high COG has actually benefits.

Mainly, I keep telling it because it makes our high COG T7s superiour over other bikes 🧐😁😉

Has anybody actually bought this unit garage kit for t7? I was searching the internet for real life pictures an only found 1 bike with kit fitted (bike for sale in the UK). Some first hand experience would be much appreciated.

@yaman I love the look! When you get it cleaned up, please post a couple more pictures.

I bet you get a lot of people asking you about your bike. It has a very unique look now.

@yaman, did you buy a full kit? Or select what you want? What was the final cost?

2 cyl 1VJ. Fab. 👍

I’d  been looking for an engine donor to make a  twin 1vj out of my spare frame some years ago, when the first T7 pics came out as teasers. I suppose this is the best of both worlds worked the other way, retro mod the looks not update the mechanics of the old.

looks well smart.

Love the "screen" height.

Betting this finally gets rid of the buffeting

I've been mulling over dash lowering to get rid of buffeting. Is yours on the bars?

Could always batter a 1vj tank to fit and move the rad. Make it look like an oil cooler. 🤔 as on a 34L.
maybe easier to copy a 3AJ. Or the super ten? Rally style.
or bang a trx 850 motor in my 1Vj.
too many thoughts now.
it would be easier if there was a really trashed donor bike. No worries about cutting etc.
