Corroded spokes after 41 miles

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Anyone else faced issues with the quality of the spokes.

I’ve put in a warranty claim as this is the state of mine after only 41 miles.

The bike lives in a heated garage and was cleaned thoroughly after it’s ride with proper cleaner, the bike was also ACF50’d - but obviously I didn’t do the spokes….

All nuts and bolts are perfect, as is my raw Ali skid pan so looks like a manufacturer error/bad batch of spokes rather than some toxic debris/salt from the road.

Nope that is just salt.  Yes yamaha spokes are crap!  Don't break but rust if you just talk about salt near them!

756 miles on the clock.  I just got off the phone with Yamaha Motor Co.  They told me to take my bike to the dealer as soon as possible and have them look at my bike.
