Do you know if SW-Motech pannier racks will fit with genuine Yamaha rack?

Never tryed this out but I don't think so. OEM Rack seems to be to wide.

Maybe mounting instructions could give you more information:

One more question... thank you...

About the Hepco & Becker minirack.

Do you think it's solid enough to install a topcase on it?

They offer a rack especially made for carrying Topcases.

The Hepco&Becker Alurack is especially designed for our topcases. As the successor to the luggage rack made of round tubing, the Alurack continues the tradition...

The basic construction is the same. But they don’t recommend to put a Topcase at the Minirack because of the relative thin Alu plate...

Hi, I’ve just installed the Bumot rack, it’s lighter than the oem rack. You can also mount a top case. I adapted the top plate from my ktm 990 to fit so that I can use the same case.

The plate is screwed in the front position. It is possible to move it a bit back because the rack has slot holes. If you do so, negative influence for passenger comfort should be minimal.
