Is it a Throttle Lock ?

If so, I very much like the Kaoko friction lock, easy to use, very well made, tricky to fit with heated grips, but a Dremel and some swearing later... It certainly saves wrist ache on long stretches of road/highway.

I have one for sale in the T7 parts section.  Along with BB's that work with the Kaoko.

I have one and it slips but that I belive is due to it being a top not a bottom position. It worked really well on my other bikes and would def. buy it again. Can report back after getting the bottom position one.

I have had several kaoko throttle locks on several different bikes. They look beautiful but as for function leave a little to be desired.

The Atlas might be a better idea if it works well and doesn't slip.

I have used it on my T7 for 3 years now and I love it. It can be a bit finicky at first getting the friction pad set up but once you get it on and adjusted it works fantastic. Great design.

Kaoko for me. Done endless full days on autobahns and motorways, defo the dog's. Easy to use, aesthetically very pleasing and fool proof.

I have a Kaoko for sale in Canada if anyone is looking for one.   Posted in the For Sale section.

I've been using the $7.95 Amazon one that works OK and it's cheap. I looked at the Atlas at the BMW MOA and it is tricky to instal, even the factory guy there couldn't tell me what friction pads I would need (#2 0r #3) or wether I would have to cut them or not. For $155 that is pretty lame. I did talk to one guy with a T7 there that had installed one of the cheap copies off Ebay. I may try one. The ease of making small adjustments and turning the Atlas on and off with a push button is really nice. The cheap clamp with arm style I have is a lifesaver on long highway stretches but they are Stone Age. Has anyone tried the Atlas knock offs that cost about $20? I see a load of them but I don't know if they are all the same.
