Replacing stock foot pegs

So i was all excited to get my new Camel foot pegs. I went to put them on and got to work. One on only challenge was cutting the cotter pin as my skid plat was a bit in the way but all good. I went to do the other and it wouldn't budge. 30 min later and I finally get the pin out and realize............now how did that happen. 

 

Well thankfully I have a partzilla account and a new one is on the way.... just have to wait to ride.
