Posted June 27, 20232 yr I have a lot of riding gear, jackets, pants, boots and helmets and we are moving to a new home with a large enough garage to create a gear storage area. I am looking for ideas for innovative storage. Yes I could build a 6 foot shelf and put the helmet on top and a clothing hanging rack below, but that won't look "cool". Any photos would be appreciated.

June 27, 20232 yr I got one of these for Mrs 101's expensive saddles and bridles. She has it bolted to the wall of her tack shed. It isn't breathable but she regularly changes dehumidifier pots to keep mould at bay. It has been working a treat for the last few years and kept mice out during the last plague a couple of years ago. On the other hand, my riding gear lives in a wardrobe in the spare bedroom! June 28, 20232 yr I found these hooks which go with a track system work great upside down for holding helmets. I keep helmets I'm currently using in garage. Available at big box stores.

October 25, 2024Oct 25 I have an old wardrobe in my shed for gear. However if it gets wet then best place is hanging in the open in a warm room. To do this i hand mine in the Utility or shower room for few hours to dry before putting away
